Study Abroad

Studying abroad was something that I knew that I had to do before graduating. In the summer of 2018 I had the opportunity to go to Buenos Aires, Argentina. During that whole summer I was able to foster an understanding of Latin American international relations through the experience of living and studying in one of the most vibrant cosmopolitan cities in the Americas. I was able to explore and learn about the diversity of the country and current issues in the region through direct contact and dialogue with cultural, social, and political actors in the country. I also had the opportunity to visit Iguazu National Park and see where three countries meet. During the trip, I enjoyed taking tango lessons, excursions to other areas in Argentina, walking around and exploring the city and eating amazing food. I loved every minute of my study abroad experience and suggest that every FIU student should experience this once during the four years they are studying at FIU.
